Le Grau-du-Roi : An ideal resort for vacations

During your stay at the Camping Domaine de Gajan, take a family walk or a romantic stroll in Grau du Roi. The Grau du Roi located in the heart of the Camargue is a marina and fishing port. The city center still retains its traditional character. On the right bank (west) is the Boucanet district which extends from the city center to the Ponant wood (also known as the Boucanet pine forest) on the left bank (east), beyond the city center, is the Palais de la Mer district where you can visit theAquarium of Grau du Roiand then Port Camargue.

The beach of Espiguette is located south of Port-Camargue and Grau du Roi. Classified natural site and labeled Grand Site de France. More than 10 kms of beach that looks like a desert. It is the wildest beach of the Gard.

The Boucanet beach of Grau du Roi is located west of the city center. There are two supervised areas on this beach. The general environment of this beach is pleasant with some small dunes and a nice width of sand. Ideal beach with children, because the bathing area is gently sloping. We’ve walked a long way.
